Travis EricssonTravis Ericsson is a 5th generation cowboy, son of the legendary Mr. Dave Ericsson. At the young age of 3, Travis was exposed to his first gathering with his dad who contracted with the state of Arizona to remove burros from the Grand Canyon. It wasn't long after that during his youth, Travis focused on the “Cowboy” life and his passion for horses and ranch work was his calling. Travis has been blessed to be gifted with his father’s knowledge, talent, and his incredible work ethic. Travis, a native of Arizona was born in Wikieup, graduated from Kingman High School and attended Central Arizona College. During his college days, Travis would work for the San Carlos Apache Reservation gathering wild cattle, a unique skill and talent. Travis is still contracting throughout the state of Arizona, gathering wild horses on reservations to wild cow/bull catching. Travis has spent his life devoted to his passion for ranch work, horses, and team roping. Today, when Travis isn’t qualifying at a World Series Roping you will find him focused on his successful “Ericsson Equine” training business located in Scottsdale Arizona. Ericsson Equine offers all level of proven instructional methodology training, from basic riding to team roping, or if your just on the market for leisure riding horse or your next champion rope horse.
